Home Credit India, Vodafone M-Pesa in Tie-up to Facilitate EMI Payments for Consumer Durable Loans

- Partners with Home Credit; Over 1 million customers to benefit through this facility

- M-Pesa to facilitate quick, simple, safe, cashless loan repayments

Customers of Home Credit can now pay their monthly EMI through Vodafone M-Pesa. This partnership will benefit existing and potential customers of Home Credit from 58 cities across 15 states, offering them a simple, easy-to-use, safe option for cashless loan repayments.

Home Credit customers now get the convenience of using the M-Pesa app, or visiting the closest M-Pesa Business Correspondent. Vodafone M-Pesa has the largest network of Business Correspondents in India offering Home Credit customers accessibility even in difficult-to-access rural markets

Inviting all customers of Home Credit to reap the benefits of the partnership, Sandeep Kataria, Director M-Pesa said "M-Pesa is delighted to partner with Home Credit, providing a safe, speedy and convenient way for consumer durable loan users to pay their instalments. Home Credit customers now have access to the largest agent network and can also opt to effect their loan repayments "On the go" through the M-Pesa app. Vodafone M-Pesa has been helping transform lives for the segments who need it the most, by facilitating instant and secure money transactions through the mobile phone even while driving financial inclusion in the country."

Three simple options for customers to use Vodafone M-Pesa, from the comfort of their home M-Pesa App, M-Pesa Portal or USSD short code*400#. Alternately, visit the closest M-Pesa Business Correspondent premises, to get the amount transferred through his/her portal.
